• The National Association for Shoplifting Prevention (NASP) is a national, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to raise public awareness about the harmful effects of shoplifting on youth, families and communities, unite public opinion toward constructive solutions, deliver needed programs and services and engage community action in prevention efforts to improve the lives of those affected and reduce the number of people who become involved.
• NASP is the nationwide leader in shoplifting prevention efforts and has helped more than 250,000 people stop shoplifting and make better lives for themselves and their families.
• NASP education programs are recognized by more than 4,000 criminal and juvenile justice professionals in over 2,000 jurisdictions nationwide.

How long will it take to complete the Y.E.S. Program?
The NASP programs are easy to use and can be done in the privacy of your home. Between viewing the online program, reading the questions and marking the answers, the program should take about 3-4 hours to complete. If the participant chooses to complete the program by mail (with audio CD’s and a workbook) it should take about 4 hours to complete.

Does the participant have to complete the program in one sitting?
No, the participant can take a break at the end of any module and their work will be saved. If they choose to complete the program by mail (with audio CD’s and a workbook) they can start and stop the CD’s at any time.

• NASP is a confidential help organization. Participation in any NASP program is held STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL.
• Only the referring organization will know of the youth’s participation in the Y.E.S. Program (If applicable)
• Any program materials sent to a participant's home will not be identified as coming from the National Association for Shoplifting Prevention, but rather from NASP. All credit card charges will read NASP.

Is there a fee for the Y.E.S. Program?
There is a one-time tuition fee of $75 for the program which is paid directly to NASP. If you want to enroll but have difficulty paying the tuition right away, contact NASP immediately and we will help you in any way we can.

Will the participant receive a completion certificate at the end of the program?
Yes, upon satisfactory completion of the program, the participant will be able to print a Completion Letter to show his/her participation in the program. If they choose to complete the program by mail (with audio CD’s and a workbook) a Completion Letter will be mailed to them once NASP receives their Answer Sheet.

Does NASP provide additional support services, if needed, once the program is completed?
